Baharat is back! After the majestic opening last year and its successful throughout Ramadan month, Baharat is now ready to open its door from 6 June – 3 July, 2016 at 4th floor Ballroom Foyer. The journey starts from Turkey moved to the heartland of Arab and now travelling to the mouthwatering North-West Frontier cuisine where various kinds of kebabs and biryanis are the specialties.
The hotel is proud to welcome three chefs this year, Chef Mauluddin and Chef Hidayatulla, two well- trained and highly skilled chefs carrying rich experiences specialized in North-West Frontier cuisines such as Awadhi Dum Biryani, seekh kebab and Tandoori chop. Chef Kemal Ozcan would enliven the sweet buds with Turkish sweet delicacies and traditional baklavas. Together they have orchestrated a menu that complements your favorite Ramadan dishes.
To highlight the main dish, Baharat will serve the biryani. The “Biryani” in Persian means to fry or to roast, many believes that biryani is originally came from Persia by the North-West Frontier regions and later to the entire India.
Each region created their own unique recipes with their own region’s famous spices; one of the Chefs, Chef Hidayatulla will present one of the exceptional recipes of biryani called Awadhi Dum Biryani which is one of the native delicacies from the city of Lucknow.
Transformed into a lavish tent with contemporary decor, the spacious air-conditioned restaurant within the mall will be an ideal venue for socializing with friends and family during holy month of Ramadan. Baharat offers a good choice of venue and possibilities to impress the guests with capacity up to 250 persons. With the entertainment of Arabic music and dance, the hotel will ensure the guests to enjoy the ambience, and experience the true spirit of Ramadan.
The Baharat buffet at the hotel’s ballroom foyer will be available daily for the month of Ramadan from 17.30 – 20.00pm at the price of Rp320,000++ per person (weekdays) and Rp298,000++ (weekend) inclusive of a welcome drink.
