UNIQLO arrives in Bali with highly innovative and comfortable LifeWear products
From Tokyo to Denpasar, UNIQLO Indonesia is excited to announce the opening of its first store in Bali, 26 October 2018. Located at Mal Bali Galeria, the 1st mall in the region and also the locals first choice for shopping destination, this UNIQLO store is expected to accommodate both locals and international tourists who visit Bali for it has become one of the world’s most favorite holiday destination.
UNIQLO Mal BaI Galeria marks the brand’s presence in 7 major cities and 20th store since its arrival in Indonesia in 2013.
The store occupies a sales area of more than 2,000 m2 on the 2nd floor where customers can find high-quality collection of UNIQLO products that serve the need of clothing for men, women, children, and kids.
With the opening of the new Mal Bali Galeria store, UNIQLO also present “Hawai’i Collection” consist of Hawai’i Shirts for men, Hawai’i Bra Dress for women, and Hawai’i Shirts and Jersey Dress for Kids which will be available exclusively only at UNIQLO Mal Bali Galeria and Grand Indonesia. It is said that the origins of its designs were affected by kimonos that were brought into and made over Hawai’i by Japanese immigrants. The collection is born through the inspiration of these backgrounds, using contemporary designs of Japanese traditional motifs.
“By making UNIQLO accessible to the people in Bali, not only we are aiming at expanding the business, but also extending our excellent service to the locals as well as international tourists. This is also reflected through our collaboration with the communities in the hopes of enriching the lives of the local people in Bali. Fast Retailing Indonesia) during the opening of the store at Mal Bali Galeria.
Starting from 17 October – 11 November 2018, UNIQLO also teamed up with several other local communities starting such as Alter Ego, Amplitude, Eat Well, Hungry Bird Coffee Roasters and Karakter Kopi by placing the UNIQLO Claw Machines to get a chance to win exciting prizes such as UNIQLO’s LifeWear products and merchandises, gift vouchers, coffee vouchers, and others.
To celebrate the opening day, customers can also enjoy Taiko performance, a traditional style drum from Okinawa by students from Taiko Club of Junior Japan in Bali to represent the brand’s wish to be sustainable by empowering with the local communities. The opening ceremony then follow with ribbon-cutting ceremony.
On the opening day, 100 customers in line can also enjoy free coffee from Hungry Bird Coffee Roasters. During opening period, customers who spend a minimum of IDR. 500.000 will receive UNIQLO Dry Bag (while stocks last) for customers daily essentials in keeping their belongings dry and try their luck on the UNIQLO Claw Machine that will be located in front of the store.
With the opening of this new store at Mal Bali Galeria, UNIQLO hopes to deliver greater convenience through its thoughtfully designed, high quality, comfortable and innovative clothing that called LifeWear for everyone in Bali and surrounding cities.
