Swiss-Belhotel International, the global hospitality management chain, is celebrating a hugely successful evening at the 9th Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards (ITTA) 2018-19, during which the hotel group and several of its Indonesian properties were honoured with prestigious awards.
These illustrious annual awards are organised by the ITTA Foundation with the aim of recognising excellence in the Indonesian tourism and hospitality sectors. This year’s awards concluded with a glittering gala ceremony in Jakarta on 7th December 2018.
At this prestigious event, Swiss-Belhotel International won the title of “Indonesia’s Leading Global Hotel Chain” for an unprecedented eighth year. This is the blue-ribbon category for the hospitality industry and Swiss-Belhotel International took home the title ahead of many larger global hotel groups.
Since arriving in Indonesia more than 25 years ago, Swiss-Belhotel International has built an impressive collection of over 70 hotels and resorts all across the country, making it one of the country’s most well-established, well-known and well-loved international hotel brands.
Several of Swiss-Belhotel International’s Indonesian properties were also successful at ITTA 2018-19, in a series of highly competitive categories. These included Swiss-Belhotel Airport Jakarta, which was awarded the title of “Indonesia’s Leading Airport Hotel, Jakarta”, Swiss- Belhotel Jambi, which was named as “Indonesia’s Leading Four-Star Hotel, Jambi” and Hotel Ciputra Cibubur, which took the title of “Indonesia’s Leading Four-Star Hotel, Bekasi”.
The company is also celebrating having one of the best hotels in Yogyakarta. Swiss- Belboutique Yogyakarta won two awards at ITTA 2018-19: “Indonesia’s Leading Boutique Hotel, Yogyakarta” and “Indonesia’s Leading Luxury Hotel, Yogyakarta”.
These honours reflect how Swiss-Belhotel International is now providing world-class, industry- leading accommodation in a wide range of market segments, from two to five stars, all across the Indonesian archipelago.
