Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta Presents Treatment for Peaceful Soul, Body and Mind
Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta invites guests to achieve a peaceful soul, body and mind as the hotel launches Serenity of Reiki by CHI, The Spa to the public on 1 April 2019. The treatment will be available until 30 June 2019.
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as ‘energy healing’. It emerged in Japan in the late 1800s and is said to involve the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to the patient.
Reiki is composed of two Japanese words, rei and ki. Rei, which means ‘universal’, refers to a higher intelligence that permeates all living and non-living things. Ki, which means ‘life energy’, refers to the non-physical energy that flows through everything alive. ‘Reiki’ actually means ‘spiritually guided life force energy’. Some people who encounter healing can feel a warmth, a bloodstream throughout the body, a twitching or a small shock of electricity; it can be different feelings for guests who experience it.
Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta is the only hotel in Jakarta to provide Reiki as a unique experience; it has not been offered by any other place in Jakarta. The treatment is a combination of traditional Balinese Massage techniques combined with reiki energy and positive intensity channelled throughout the guest’s body by professional and certified therapists. They are trained to heal or bring about physical improvement in general, cleanse the aura or the body of negative energy, adjusting or balancing chakra functions in the body and reducing stress.
This body massage not only removes fatigue and calms the muscles, but also helps develops emotional, mental, spiritual well-being and makes the heart feel happy inside. Guests can indulge in the 75-minute relaxing experience of Serenity of Reiki at IDR 850,000++.
This unique treatment is designed to bring out the very best in a person, enabling him to explore a heightened sense of mind and body balance.
