Mercedes-Benz will introduce the new E 300 e EQ Power, available for ordering. At the Gaikindo International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2019, to be held from 18 July to 28 July 2019, Mercedes-Benz is ready to showcase its first plug-in hybrid model in Indonesia.
“In line with this year’s GIIAS 2019 theme “Future in Motion”, Mercedes- Benz is pleased to announce the sales of the new E 300 e EQ Power. The first Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid model in Indonesia will offer the comfort and luxury elements of the E-Class with added smoothness and efficiency,” said Choi Duk Jun, President Director, PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia.
The new E 300 e is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine which produces 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque and a hybrid module with 122 hp of electric power and 440 Nm of torque (combined system output is 700 Nm). It can achieve 1.8 l/100 km on the combined, weighted cycle and emits 41 g/km of CO2. It can travel from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
The E 300 e has a fully electric range of 54 kilometers from its 13.5 kWh battery. It can be charged from 10 to 100 per cent in under two hours with a 7.4 kW charger, or in under four hours from a standard household socket.
The new E 300 e EQ Power comes with a high specification as standard. The E-Class plug-in hybrid model features blind spot assist; widescreen cockpit; four USB ports; touchpad with controller; illuminated door sills; spilt-folding rear seats; Parking package including Active Parking Assist including 360°camera; Seat Comfort package including Electro-pneumatic four-way lumbar support; ambient lighting with a choice of 64 colours; Keyless-Go starting function and front seats with electric adjustment and memory package.
The AMG Line trim adds AMG exterior bodystyling; 19-inch AMG 5-twin- spoke light–alloy wheels; metal-weave trim with Artico/Dinamica microfibre upholstery; AMG steering wheel with touch control buttons and Burmester Surround Sound System.
Moreover, Multibeam Led headlights; Air Body Control air suspension; Keyless-Go package including hands-free access, automatic powered boot closing and keyless entry; and a panoramic sunroof come also as standard.
Driver assistance systems include a Lane Tracking package that includes Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
The new E 300 e EQ Power is available for order at Mercedes-Benz authorized dealerships at a price of Rp1,899,000,000 (Off-the-road), with deliveries expected in the 4th quarter of 2019.
