The Berawa health haven introduces an array of new favourite dishes.
As its name suggests, Two Trees Eatery is rather passionate about plants. Not only does the Berawa-based venue have an ongoing devotion to plant-based cuisine, but the same interest in being green. “With a name like Two Trees Eatery, we have a responsibility not only to be environmentally friendly but also to be conscious of what is good for your body,” the venue explains.
“We don’t however want to stray too far away from our natural tendency to be a bit naughty from time to time, so we wanted to provide you with everything from the very healthy to the very naughty depending on your mood.”
It’s this celebration of balanced eating that you’ll find on the venue’s newly launched menu, which merges the health-focus of Australia with the flavours of the French. In-keeping with the existing farm-to-table approach, Two Trees has introduced a handful of new dishes that are as delicious as they are good for you, where soaked, sprouted and dehydrated nuts, seeds, and grains all make an appearance alongside plenty of ferments.
Tuck into the Golden Broth, a healing broth infused with medicinal spices, and the Salm Salm But Different, a vegan take on salmon that sees carrots salt-baked and cured in olive oil and raw apple cider vinegar. And then there’s the Hot Dang Carrot Dog, a playful vegan twist on the humble hot dog that uses carrot instead of sausage. As an added eco-friendly bonus, inside the restaurant you’ll find very little plastic, with no straws, bottles, bags, cups, or take-away packaging used throughout.
Two Trees Eatery is open from 6.00am to 11.00pm everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
