A handful of major international DJs are headed straight for Bali’s newest beach club.
Despite only having just opened its doors this September, Café del Mar Bali has already established itself as one of the island’s most popular beach clubs. A haven of Mediterrean-inspired food and drinks, and crisp architecture conceptualised by architect Rafael Pasaribu, the Indonesian incarnation of a Spanish institution has firmly made its mark on Canggu.
And it’s only set to get busier; the cavernous new beachfront space will shortly welcome its first international DJ guests, having released its November musical line-up. Following in the footsteps of the Ibiza original, a bar so famous it spawned a Chill House music label, Café del Mar Bali is dedicated to hosting a steady stream of impressive musical acts throughout the year. The venue itself proudly boasts one of Bali’s best sound systems, and a space specially designed so that the stage can be viewed from the entirety of its expanse.
But who exactly will be gracing Café del Mar Bali with its presence? On Friday, November 1 multi-award winning DJ and production duo Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley of Stanton Warriors will make their way to the stage, taking to the decks from 11.00am. On Sunday, November 3 will be British DJ Nick Warren with his global live events brand The Soundgarden, with a special appearance from Holland’s Miss Melera. And then on Sunday November 17 from 11.00am, will be Bristol-based DJ and Producer
Christophe.
But this is just the beginning says Café Del Mar Australasia Music Director Rodd Richards of Rodd Richards Presents (RRP). “We are excited to deliver the first of many international artists to the Cafe del Mar Bali event calendar. We look forward to welcoming some of the world’s biggest dance music acts to this world class venue.”
