There’s no shortage of meat-free options on the menu, including the innovative plant-based pattie.
For Grill’d, burgers aren’t just reserved for carnivores. Which is why the beloved Australian haunt, just landed in Bali’s Seminyak, has welcomed an impressive array of meat-free and health-conscious options to its first international outpost.
“We welcome all food tribes to our table with burgers for everybody,” the company explains. “Without cheese or without the meat, a gluten-free bun or no bun at all. However you do burgers, you do you.”
The health-conscious crowd in Bali have never been better catered for. There’s gluten-friendly buns, specially created by Mades Banana Flour company. Or Low Carb options for those who like to count theirs – served on a Low Carb SuperBun the majority of burgers (excluding, veggie and Beyond range) have less carbs than a single sushi roll. The Low Carb SuperBun contains <9g of carbs per 100g compared to an average sushi roll with (25g carbs per 100g).
That’s not mentioning the array of hearty salads available, for those craving something else.
Vegans will be pleased to note the arrival of the revolutionary Beyond Burger. Designed for those who prefer not to indulge in meat but miss the taste, the innovative vegan product is a plant-based pattie which boasts the same look, feel, and taste as a regular beef burger.
“Our Beyond burgers, Low carb super buns and gluten free options have been so popular with both Bali expats who are here to live the clean living island lifestyle and also tourists who are looking for tasty but healthy options instead over just over indulging on their holidays. Whilst you spend most of your time here in a pair of bikinis, it’s good to have some healthy options,” says Grill’d Bali of its ever-growing health-conscious menu offerings.
Grill’d Bali is located at Jalan Kayu Jati no 3X, Petitenget Beach, Seminyak and will be open daily from 10am – 2am.
