The recent Hyatt openings of Andaz Bali, Commune by the Great Wall, Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay and Hyatt Regency Guangzhou Zengcheng in 2021 deliver one-of-a-kind guest experiences that are reflective of local culture.
Andaz Bali – opened on 9th April 2021
Offering a contemporary take on the traditional Balinese village and its way of life, Andaz Bali is located in the heart of Sanur and a short 22-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Set along Bali’s south-eastern coastline known for its old-world charm, picturesque beaches and spectacular sunrises, Andaz Bali pays homage to Balinese art and craftsmanship, weaving together the island’s rich heritage and the contemporary influence from artists who have been visiting Sanur over the decades.
Andaz Bali features 149 guestrooms including 18 Garden Villas and four Beach Villas arranged in a series of courtyards, which create a sense of discovery as guests move through the resort. The resort’s overall concept reflects the locale and is inspired by the surrounding villages, from its intimate scale with buildings nestled amid the lush greenery to the use of the distinctive red brick and traditional construction material in Sanur.
Commune by the Great Wall – opened on 20th April 2021
Located in the Yangqing District of Beijing, marking the sixth property in China for The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand. The hotel lies nestled in the foothills of the peaceful Shuiguan Mountains amid an intensely beautiful landscape of undulating hills and valleys. In this remote spot just over an hour’s drive from downtown Beijing, the hotel offers a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle to reconnect with nature, each other and oneself.

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui – opened on 5th July 2021

Located in Urayasu city in the Chiba Prefecture, Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay is the eighth Hyatt Regency branded hotel in Japan. Overlooking the scenic Tokyo Bay and close to central Tokyo, the 350-room Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay offers guests an urban retreat to relax and recharge.
