Ronald, the CEO of DestinAsian Media Group, met Rene in 2014, when he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Fairmont Bali. DestinAsian Media Group is known for producing some of Indonesia’s most high-quality publications, including DestinAsian, Prestige Indonesia, and DAMAN.
Meanwhile, Rene has extensive hospitality experience, including serving as the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for three Hyatt properties in Bali (Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali, and Andaz Bali), as well as numerous accolades such as Sales Hotelier of the Year 2016 from BMW Hotelier Awards and Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific from International Hotelier Awards.
Throughout the years, their partnership and friendship grew stronger. In 2021, the two decided to establish SCOP3. With Ronald’s prominent publications and network of influencers and socialites, combined with Rene’s strong sales and marketing skills, they began building a company that caters to the hospitality industry’s sales and marketing needs.
