Reimagine travel to Singapore through staycation experience
Despite the pandemic and its impact on international travel, Singapore continues to innovate by offering reinvented products and new experiences tailored to Indonesian tourists’ trends and needs.
Along with presenting five exclusive Singapore-themed rooms, STB and ARTOTELGroup are collaborating on an art exhibition of Indonesian artists at ARTSPACE on the mezzanine floor of ARTOTEL Thamrin-Jakarta, from 28 January to 31 March 2022. A total of five artists will take part in the art exhibition including IRSKIY, TUTU, Sicovecas as well as Ardhira Putra and Cynthia Delaney Suwito who participated in the Singapore Art Week (SAW) in early January.
SAW 2022, one of the most anticipated art events of the year, took place from January 14 to January 23, 2022. With over 130 curated programs over the season, SAW brings a hybrid exhibition that showcases the work of artists from Singapore and all over the world.
Singapore’s tourism sector has experienced a resurgence and innovation in recent months, adapting to meet the needs of tourists and ensuring that every aspect of their visit is safe and enjoyable. Along with the gradual reopening of the border for leisure travel, Singapore has launched Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) to more than 20 countries and regions, including Indonesia.
Between January and December 2021, 330,000 international visitors arrived in Singapore, including 33,000 from Indonesia which was amongst the top three visitor source markets in 2021. Tourists visiting Singapore will encounter new experiences as part of the “SingapoReimagine” initiative, as well as enhanced safety measures for greater peace of mind which will become the new standard for tourist travel to Singapore.
