The awards received by Citi include Corporate Brand, Debit Card from Foreign Bank, Credit Card from Foreign Bank, and Wealth Management for Citigold.
Citi Indonesia brought home 4 awards from Infobank Magazine, one of Indonesia’s leading financial and banking media. Unsparingly, Citi, which has been present in Indonesia since 1968, won the best bank award for 4 different categories at the 11th Infobank Digital Brand Awards, namely Corporate Brand, Debit Card from Foreign Bank, Credit Card from Foreign Bank, and Wealth Management for Citigold.
Citi Indonesia CEO Batara Sianturi, at the award ceremony at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta, stated, “This achievement is the result of collaborative work, and at the same time serves as an illustration of Citi’s commitment in providing services for our consumers. We wholeheartedly present these awards to our partners and loyal consumers.”
The award ceremony was also attended by Citi Indonesia Head of Treasury & Trade Solutions Yoanna Darwin, Citi Indonesia Head of Retail Banking Steven Suryana, and Citi Indonesia Head of Cards & Loan Herman Soesetyo.
Prior to receiving the awards, at the same event, Batara was also a speaker at the CEO’s Sharing session on “Advancing Business Strategy and Sustainable Economy in Digital Era”.
Indonesia, according to Batara, is a very attractive market in terms of the digital economy. The projection of digital economic growth in Indonesia is very large, reaching USD 133 million in 2025 and the fastest growth in ASEAN.
With this potential, Citi sees many opportunities to contribute to Indonesia. Citi is ready to support fintech, e-commerce, and other digital economy partners through institutional banking services.
