You can also take a break from the buzz and bustle of city life with forest bathing with XIU Nature Connections. Inspired by the Japanese wellness practice of shinrin yoku (forest bathing), the activities here are set amidst our city’s tropical landscapes. Meditate beneath the moonlight at the Singapore Botanical Gardens, meander through wooded meadows or spend a tranquil day soaking in the sun on the island of Sentosa. Regardless of the activity, you pick, you’re bound to find yourself rejuvenated.

The four wellness enthusiasts also visited the Wellness Festival Singapore, which was held for the first time this year, on 3-12 June 2022. This 10-day festival offers more than 120 online and offline events from fitness training, meditation exercises, arts and lifestyle experiences that enhance physical, emotional and mental well-being.
The festival also presents various exciting activities such as The Wellness Sensorium, a multi-sensory pop-up at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay that will have six zones offering innovative and instagrammable experiences.
These include the Stone Ritual, which engages visitors in the mindful and collaborative exercise of stone-stacking to heighten their spatial awareness, and the Light and Sound Bath, a darkened environment filled with slow-moving coloured lights and ambient sound to induce a state of calm.
