HARRIS Vertu and YELLO Hotels Harmoni recently notched another milestone achievement by becoming the only hotel (s) with double certification in Indonesia. Since the hotel’s inception (six years ago) the properties have already been honored with multiple awards, certifications and recognition from organizations of national and international repute.
This time the hotels went through a rigors audit procedure and reaped the highest scoring category (excellent) in both the CHSE (Clean, Healthy, Safety, Environment – based on HACCP standard) and Hygiene Audit (HACCP) certification process. The assessment was performed by TUV Rheinland Indonesia (recognized by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy – Republic of Indonesia) which is globally a renowned audit (company) for the food and accomodation business.
The objective is to ensure the consistency of the implementation of standard protocols for cleanliness, health and safety in which tourist activities are organized and supported. The use of this certification gives confidence to tourists that all businesses have met the minimum requirements to be tourist friendly. This achievement further cements HARRIS Vertu and YELLO Hotels Harmoni standing amongst the leading hotels in Jakarta.
The General Manager of HARRIS Vertu & Yello Harmoni Mr. Christoph Voegeli added, “To us, this is not just a certification but an assurance to our guests. It means that our management system is at par with the global standards recognised by TUV Rheinland.”
Furthermore, he revealed that he is extremely proud of his team. They worked very hard to go through the audit process and it is only because of them (and perhaps a little bit of his encouragement) that could the hotel’s reach 100% score for the CHSE and the TUV audit 92 for YELLO Harmoni and 93 for HARRIS Vertu respectively.
The CHSE (Clean, Health, Safety & Environment) Certification Program is the process of granting certificates to tourism businesses, other related businesses/facilities to the tourism industry, community environment, and tourism destinations. The CHSE accreditation also assures visitors and the general public that the products and services delivered have met hygiene, health, safety, and environmental sustainability requirements.
The certifications obtained by HARRIS Vertu and YELLO Hotel Harmoni include the CHSE (Clean, Healthy, Safety, Environment) certification, TUV 2021 certification in the field of Safety Audit COVID-19 Preventive Measure 2022 and 2021, Travel Review Award 2021, Gold Circle Award 2020, Member’s Choice Most Recommended Award 2020 and Best Experience in Cleanliness Premium 2020.
