Discover the Diversity of Bali
Alila Villas Uluwatu is the perfect base for enjoying a heavenly beach-hopping journey by boat that encompasses eight of the most famous beaches in Bali, dotted along a pristine coastline of white limestone cliffs. Cruise the Indian Ocean. Stop to sunbathe, swim or snorkel. Bask in the incredible Bali sunset while enjoying a picnic on the boat. A wonderful way to appreciate Mother Nature’s breath-taking beauty.
In the island’s cultural and artistic centre, explore the villages and lush landscapes surrounding Alila Ubud and the Gianyar Regency on an open-air safari in a coupé convertible Volkswagen. Feel the wind blowing through your hair as you watch day-to-day Balinese life pass by and soak in the panoramic views of beautiful rice paddies, magnificent hills and ancient temples.
Blessed with calm waters and gorgeous oceanscapes, Bali’s east coast is a popular destination to chase amazing sunrises and sunsets. Combine a stay at Alila Manggis with a magical sail out to sea on a traditional wooden jukung boat in time to witness majestic Mount Agung being bathed in the first light of day or watch the sky transform into a brilliant mural of sunset hues.
Located next to one of the most unique temples in Bali, Pura Petitenget, built in the 15th century, Alila Seminyak offers a journey into the heart of Balinese temple culture and spirituality, an integral part of local life. Discover the fascinating history of Petitenget Temple. Explore the grace of Balinese rituals and ceremonies right before your eyes – and right in your hands as you learn to make the traditional Canang Sari and Gebogan offerings, symbols of gratitude to the gods.
Working together with Sanur-based ceramic brand Kevala, Andaz Bali offers guests an immersive workshop in Kevala’s quaint studio, just five minutes away from the resort. The two-hour workshop includes a one-hour Introduction to wheel throwing and one hour of hand-building and decoration. Kevala, whose creations are used in the resort’s Fisherman’s Club restaurant, is known for its contemporary take on classic designs, just like Andaz.
