Sports Coordinator of Dash Sports, Yori Hehanussa elaborated how BTN Dash Aquatic Challenge will feature 3 competitions in Aquathlon, Swim Challenge and Mini Water Polo Tournament.
This time, Aquathlon will present such an exciting sports competition combining challenges in swimming and running and will be available for 3 age groups. Namely: the Junior Category: age 12-16, General: age 17-39, and Master: for age 40 and above. The run-swim-run competition will include a 2.5-kilometer run around the GBK followed by a 500-meter swim and concluded by another 2.5-kilometer run to the finish line.
Swim Challenge this time will put the focus more on achievements, the participants will be from the age group of 15 years and above. The competitions will include 50 meters butterfly, 50 meters backstroke, 50 meters breaststroke, 50 meters freestyle.
Meanwhile, the Mini Water Polo Tournament will be feature more than 10 teams, each consisting of 7 players (4 main players and 3 on the bench). Not only the number of players that will be different, the court area will also be different from the regular Water Polo competition. The participants will consist of 15 years old and younger and each team must include 2 female players.
Chief Strategic Officer of Dash Sports, Imam Sulisto reminded that, “Registration has been opened since the beginning of Januari, 2023 and will remain opened through the Dash Sports mobile apps until February 6, 2023. Registration fee for the Aquathlon is Rp400,000 per person, whereas for Swim Challenge it is Rp300,000 per person.”
“Participants who had managed to complete their registration process and conclude the payment through the Dash Sports mobile apps is eligible to get their race pack (RPC) at Menara BTN in Central Jakarta on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10 am to 10 pm Western Indonesian Time.
