From the flavors and aromatics of the cuisine and cocktails to the free-spirited design and ambiance of the restaurant, guests will be transported to the Mediterranean throughout their dining experience. Designed by renowned studio P49 Deesign, Scusa offers a relaxed indoor-outdoor setting in a breezy courtyard surrounded by white and blue accents that are reminiscent of the islands around the Mediterranean Sea. Scusa’s piazza with Italian-style fountain is perfect to enjoy the dinner or finish the night with crafted cocktails under the glimmering stars.
The interior design features ornate details such as natural wood furnishings, woven textiles, arched doorways, and terracotta pots filled with herbs and greenery that fill the space with rustic charm. From the charming ambiance to the thoughtfully curated décor, every element of Scusa’s design was hand-selected to evoke the essence of the Mediterranean region.
“Scusa, with its traditional Mediterranean fare and laid-back atmosphere, is poised to become a mainstay of the Ayana experience,” says Maurice Fahey, Cluster Director of F&B at Ayana Estate.
Scusa marks the third restaurant at Ayana Segara Bali after Karang All-day Dining Restaurant and Luna, the newest rooftop bar atop Ayana Segara Bali perfect for pre-dinner cocktail with sunset view, for a total of 26 dining destinations in Ayana Estate.
“Ayana Estate has quickly become a dining destination in its own right offering a diverse roster of dining experiences including the iconic Rock Bar, celebrated as one of the best hotel bars in the world,” add Maurice.
Perched between lush tropical gardens and overlooking the Jimbaran Bay, Ayana Segara Bali opened in November featuring 197 modern and elegant guestrooms and suites.
In addition to the new hotel, the 90-hectare integrated Ayana Estate is also home to Ayana Villas Bali, Ayana Resort Bali, and RIMBA by Ayana Bali and features Ayana Spa, a 22,000 square meter (236,806 square foot) destination spa, as well as 14 swimming pools, Ayana Farm, an 18-hole golf putting course, jogging trail and much more.
Scusa is open daily for dinner service starting at 6:00 p.m.
