From Converse Collaboration of ‘Connect with the Unexpected’ – Basboi x Feel Koplo Unveils Music Video from their Single “Star-Link”
Celebrating National Music Day on March 9, Converse Indonesia is holding a ‘Connect with the Unexpected’ Special Performance, a music event featuring Converse’s latest collaboration between Basboi and Feel Koplo with a number of new young musicians from the Converse All Star, namely: Cito Gakso, Letasya and Rizkia Laras at the Converse Kota Kasablanka outlet.
Remaining loyal to its vision and mission to support young creatives, Converse continues its journey to encourage personal expression by bringing together new talents to collaborate and create unique music able to inspire a movement and spark connection among each other in a campaign entitled Connect with the Unexpected, initiated at the beginning of this year.
Converse partnered with BASBOI, a rapper as well as a member of Converse All Star Indonesia, and FEEL KOPLO, an Indonesian artist and local DJ for Dangdut Remix, who both produced a unique next-level quality creation in the form of a single called Star-Link.
Launched on 17 February 2023, the brand new song, Star-Link by BASBOI and FEEL KOPLO explored the modern and trendy Hip-Hop genre combined with remixes of local dangdut music incorporating traditional Sundanese musical instruments such as flutes and drums, which will be available to listen to online or streaming.
This Special Performance event also presents a special Design Patch inspired by the musical collaboration between Basboi and Feel Koplo. What is unique about this Patch is that it has a QR Code that directly links to the Star-Link music video on Converse Indonesia Youtube Channel.
