InterContinental Danang Unveils Bespoke Jewellery Collection with Exclusive Fan-Shaped Diamond Cut

The fan is also a symbol of prosperity in Vietnamese culture and an important national icon. Traditionally crafted by hand in Thach That village, Ha Tay province, and decorated with natural elements such as flowers and birds, Vietnam’s famous paper fans led to the creation of the fan dance, which was performed in the imperial palaces of the Tran and Nguyen dynasties.

The new Kate McCoy collection offers guests and art collectors the opportunity to purchase unique pieces of jewellery, each accompanied by a certificate of authenticity that details the diamond grade, cut, karat weight, and gold karat and gram weight of the piece. Kate will continue to develop new limited-edition designs using The Fan Cut™.

Kate McCoy’s jewellery is inspired by nature and culture

Each piece of jewellery uses natural diamonds and rare coloured gemstones, hand-selected by Kate and set in 18 karat white, rose, and yellow gold. Prices range from USD 2,500 to USD 20,000 and above. Customised pieces are also available.

The launch of the Kate McCoy jewellery collection is the latest in a series of exciting new additions at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, including the Mi Sol Spa, a brand-new lobby and Club InterContinental Lounge, and four 705-square metre Four-Bedroom Pool Villas.

The resort, which spans four levels – Heaven, Sky, Earth and Sea – was recently named as the best hotel in Vietnam for the second consecutive year in the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards.
