Oasia Hotel Downtown – The 27-storey tower has a reinforced concrete structure with an internal curtain wall, prefabricated fiberglass planters on a cantilevered reinforced concrete ledge, and a façade of expanded aluminum mesh panels that allows climbing plants to grow on the building.
Planters are connected by an automatic irrigation system to minimize wastage and the massive vertical garden reintroduces biodiversity into the city. The hotel’s enclosed spaces are also cooled by a water system driven by chilled water and condenser water pumps.

PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay – Cited as “Singapore’s first garden in a hotel” the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay (formerly the Marina Mandarin Hotel) has undergone a €28 million renovation to integrate sustainability elements into its space.
This includes housing more than 2,400 different trees and plants in the hotel’s interior, bird’s-nest- like pavilions for guests, and a skybridge that offers an immersive treetop experience.
There is also an urban farm on the fourth level that grows as many as 60 varieties of vegetables, herbs, and fruits, all of which are picked for the hotel’s various F&B offerings in a farm-to-table concept.
