Creative Tribe’s Strategic Planner, Iman Sadeqh explained that through #pelarian movement we become confident that we can find a better way to handle mental health issues. This time, just like last year, we symbolizes our #pelarian by running together from anywhere, with anyone, for any distance, with one goal.
Next, #pelarian will expand and bring even more activities; music, art, culinary, sports, lifestyle, and others. Because #pelarian believes that we can find our own #pelarian in many different things, in order to handle mental health issues.
More than 100 people participated in the #pelarianweekenders kickoff this Sunday afternoon, started by Pelarian Move where they moved, ran or walked through a nearby route around Panglima Polim, Blok M, Jakarta Selatan area, covering the a distance of 4 kilometer before returning to the venue to follow Pelarian Chit-Chat program at Brookland Coffee in Panglima Polim.
Further in the afternoon the #pelarianweekenders event got even more exciting with a performance by DJ Wira Psychloop, DJ Dilla Dominate and DJ Pasopati RAD 1441 during the Sounds of Pelarian session.
Founder and CEO of Dash Sports, Alit Aryaguna, stated, “It’s been a year since #pelarian was conceived for the first time. Well, now with Creative Tribe, all #pelarian partners – Dash Sports, HatiPlong, Voltandfast, Runhood, RAD Media 1441, Brookland Coffee and Vox Populi Publicists as well as others are ready to put the pedal to the metal- for the follow up of #pelarianweekenders and invite everyone to participate. Meanwhile, during the main event namely Pelarian Chit-Chat, two sources were presented, one was a corporate employee, Ayu Permata Dewi and Director of Syndicate TV, Harris Syn. Both shared their own story about each of their struggle to deal with mental health issues during the pandemic.
“At #pelarian last year, we participated in making the video documentation of #pelarian via Syndicate TV. We are very happy to be able to contribute this year, in a different format, which is me sharing my experience in dealing with mental health issues. Bottom line is that I am ready to continue to support #pelarian,” Harris added.
“I had my share of mental issues from work environment. There was a certain party who ‘considered’ me too ambitious, and I felt pressured. Well, irt just so happened that to get away from the pressure I used to run. This is a positive and effective running. That is why I am so happy to be able to participate in the #pelarianweekender event right now,” Ayu concluded excitingly.
