Another #PelarianWeekenders Rolled Out to Celebrate International Self-Care Day Moment, Mental Health Issue Awareness Movement
More Than Just Running, the # PelarianWeekenders Event Shared Numerous Different Ways to Deal with Anxiety and Other Mental Health Issues
In celebration of International Self-Care Day last July 26th, Jakarta once again became the host of #pelarianweekenders, an open campaign and collective movement which is a part of the modern-day culture appealing to young adults from the millennial and Gen Z generations to care and grow their collective awareness of mental health issues.
Creative Tribe, a startup company in the field of creative marketing that initiated the event and had managed to hold #pelarianweekenders for the second time upon its initial success last month, intended to voice out the importance of self-care in ensuring a good mental health status throughout our busy daily activities regardless of what we may have to face.
#pelarianweekenders, held in collaboration with HatiPlong, Dash Sports, TMRW by UOB, Positive Vibes, Further, RAD Media 1441, Waji Media, Fern Coffee, Jawaica and Vox Populi Publicists, is scheduled to take place every month throughout the year, creating a safe space in the form of sharing sessions and discussions along with a psychologist for those who may wish to consult, as well as providing numerous positive activities.
Creative Tribe Strategic Planner, Iman Sadeqh stated, “Thank God, Alhamdulillah, Praise the Lord, we are able to carry out another #pelarianweekenders, hopefully we can continue to do this until the end of the year. The response for this afternoon has been quite extraordinary, dozens of young people participated and were excited to attend the Pelarian Chit-Chat with a psychologist from Hati Plong presenting Self-Care as the theme.”
