About Hatten Wines
Hatten Wines made its debut in the wine industry in 1994, initially through its subsidiary, PT Arpan Bali Utama. PT Hatten Bali officially commenced its operations in 2000 and is primarily involved in the distribution of alcoholic beverages, with a particular focus on wine. PT Hatten Bali is an integrated company, overseeing grape cultivation, processing, and distribution in Sanur, Bali.
At its inception, the company produced a single rosé wine product, crafted from the native Bali grape variety, Alphonse Lavallée. Hatten Wines currently manages 25 hectares of vineyards in Singaraja, with plans for further expansion.
Hatten Wines has established partnerships with local grape farmers, resulting in an initial product range comprising 11 variants. In 2007, Hatten Wines expanded its operations with the introduction of a new brand, TWO Islands, featuring a range of wine products sourced from select vineyards in South Australia.
This expansion was driven by market potential and the company’s commitment to developing high-quality products capable of competing with imports. In 2016, Dragonfly Wines was introduced, focusing on sweet wine variants targeted at the local and Asian markets.
Hatten Wines boasts a selection of 8 distinct options available in both bottle and cask packaging, while TWO Islands presents a range of 10 variants, complemented by the Two Islands Reserve line consisting of 4 additional offerings. Dragonfly, the third brand, offers a curated collection of 2 distinctive variants.
