The winners of the Food Battle and Beverage Battle competition
Archipelago International, the largest hotel management company in Southeast Asia, successfully organized the 2023 Black Box Battle at favehotel Pamanukan. This cooking competition featured the participation of 10 top F&B leaders and 10 Executive Chefs from the West Java region.
The event held on December 6, 2023, provided a stage for all participants to showcase their skills. Faced with the challenge of a secret main ingredient inside a black box, the chefs and F&B leaders successfully created exceptional food and beverages within a limited time.
“It is an honor for us, favehotel Pamanukan, to host the Archipelago Black Box Battle event this time. As the host, we have prepared this event as best as possible, paying attention to every detail of the participants’ needs, so that all participants can compete effectively,” said Bintang Adhipradipta, Hotel Manager of favehotel Pamanukan.
The winners of the Food Battle category are as follows: 1st place was awarded to Febrian Sjarif from Aston Pasteur, winning the Charles Brookfield Trophy. 2nd place went to Adi Sucipto from Harper Purwakarta, earning the John Flood Trophy. The 3rd place was secured by Sofyan Alfarisi from favehotel Hyper Square, named the third winner.
The winners of the Beverage Battle category are as follows: 1st place was secured by Andri Mulyana from Harper Purwakarta, winning the Charles Brookfield Trophy. 2nd place went to Aang Tayudin from Favehotel Hyper Square, earning the John Flood Trophy, and Angga Prihadi from Aston Cirebon secured the 3rd place as the third winner.
