Liguria will be the focus of the first event on January 16
Da Maria is starting the new year strong with the return of its Regional Dinner Series – a string of events which celebrates the variety of Italian cuisine. Taking place monthly, each occasion will host a set menu which toasts to a specific region and its specialty dishes.
This is Da Maria’s third series of the Regional Dinners led by Chef Lorenzo, with 2024’s first event focusing on Liguria. The regional stretches the western shore of the Italian Riviera and is famous for its creative cuisine, including ‘cucina di margro’ (or ‘lean cuisine’) which ranges from white meats, rabbit, vegetables and Mediterranean fish.
Liguria is also famous for its pasta thanks to its links to trade – after all Genova was once one of the most important ports in the world.
From 5.00pm on January 16, Da Maria will be celebrating the fare of Liguria and its most loved creations with a curated set menu for two or more. Bookings for the evening can be made online via damariabali.com
