15. Starbucks Jayapura Mall
This is the first Starbucks store in Papua Island. Located on the 2nd floor of Jayapura Mall, the design of this beautiful 221 m2 store reflects the familiar warmth of the homes of the Dani tribe from Papua.
The architectural characteristics of Rumah Honai’s simple yet inspiring form – circular layout, conical roof, vertical cladding, and single entrance – are the domestic qualities offered within this store. Don’t forget to take a selfie near the colorful paintings in the community bar area which are inspired by traditional Batik motifs and patterns from Papua.
Location: Jayapura Mall 2nd floor Unit 41 B & 42, Jl. Samratulangi Bayangkara, North Jayapura, Papua 99112
