According to Mrs. Hataichanok Sivara, Director of the Thai Trade Center Jakarta, the healthcare and beauty industry in Thailand is not only thriving domestically but also playing a significant role in the global market.
“With a focus on innovation, high-quality products, and strong government support, Thailand continues to solidify its position as a leader in this sector, both in Asia and worldwide,” she said.
According to the 2023 Legatum Prosperity Index, Thailand’s healthcare system ranks 31st and also achieved an impressive 5th place in the 2021 Global Health Security Index.
Through close and sustainable collaboration between entrepreneurs from Thailand and Indonesia, both countries can leverage business opportunities and tackle challenges in the healthcare and beauty sector together. Therefore, the 2024 Thailand Healthcare and Beauty Business Matching event is expected to be a significant milestone in the development of this industry in the Asian region.
