Genova Industrie Navali (GIN), a holding company formed in 2008 through the merger of two historic shipyards in Genoa, T. Mariotti and San Giorgio del Porto, both founded in 1928, is now one of the most significant players in the shipbuilding and ship repair sector in the Mediterranean region and among the leading private shipyards in Italy.
Thanks to a network of subsidiaries and established partners, GIN can operate in the ship and mega yacht segment, covering construction, repairs, refits, transformations, and ship recycling. Genova Industrie Navali possesses valuable assets in the ports of Genoa (ship repair area, with a total area of about 53 thousand square meters and 5 dry docks), Marseille (3 dry docks including Dock 10, the largest in the Mediterranean), and Piombino (about 100 thousand square meters for a site dedicated to ship recycling and shipbuilding).
Every individual and every company within the GIN group contributes to the shared vision of development: a future based on the continuous pursuit of efficient, sustainable, and responsible solutions, aiming to become a global reference point in shipbuilding. Environment, worker safety, care for and growth of personnel are the pillars upon which the group’s objectives rest, namely customer satisfaction, attention to partners, and the growth of the territory and the community.
