Established in 2016 within The Cellardoor in Sanur, Bali, the center is Indonesia’s first institution to be appointed as an Approved Programs Provider by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). This prestigious designation allows Hatten Wines to offer internationally recognized wine and spirit education programs, enhancing the knowledge and expertise of wine enthusiasts and professionals alike.

As Hatten Wines celebrates its 30th anniversary, the company remains focused on innovation and expansion. With plans to introduce new grape varieties and planting methods in its vineyards, Hatten Wines is poised to continue its pioneering role in Indonesian winemaking. The upcoming launch of TWO Islands Prosecco is just one example of the exciting developments on the horizon.

About Hatten Wines (PT Hatten Bali Tbk.)

Hatten Wines made its debut in the wine industry in 1994, initially through its subsidiary, PT Arpan Bali Utama. PT Hatten Bali officially commenced its operations in 2000 and is primarily involved in the distribution of alcoholic beverages, with a particular focus on wine.

PT Hatten Bali is an integrated company, overseeing grape cultivation, processing, and distribution in Sanur, Bali. At its inception, the company produced a single rosé wine product, crafted from the native Bali grape variety, Alphonse Lavallée. Hatten Wines currently manages in total about 60 hectares of vineyards in Singaraja, with plans for further expansion.

Hatten Wines has established partnerships with local grape farmers, resulting in an initial product range comprising 13 variants. In 2007, Hatten Wines expanded its operations with the introduction of a new brand, TWO Islands, featuring a range of wine products sourced from select vineyards in South Australia.

In 2016 TWO Islands Reserve Range being launched, represents our premium offering of modern Australian wines. Made with grapes from hand-selected vineyards in South Australia’s most sought-after viticultural regions.

This expansion was driven by market potential and the company’s commitment to developing high-quality products capable of competing with imports. In 2014, Dragonfly Wines was introduced, focusing on sweet wine variants targeted at the local and Asian markets.

Hatten Wines boasts a selection of 13 distinct options available in both bottle and cask packaging, while TWO Islands presents a range of 11 variants, complemented by the Two Islands Reserve line consisting of 4 additional offerings. Dragonfly, the third brand, offers a curated collection of 2 distinctive variants.
