A Journey of Culture and Cocktails in Collaboration with World-Class Mixologists 

Ta’aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Labuan Bajo, proudly announces the launch of its Bar Takeover series at the resort’s vibrant overwater destination, Maiga! Bar. This series, featuring collaborations with exceptional mixologists, will take cocktail enthusiasts on a journey through traditional and innovative flavors all set against the stunning backdrop of Labuan Bajo. 

The series debuts on 16th August 2024, with a collaboration featuring Kiki Moka, a renowned figure in Indonesia’s bar scene and Head Mixologist of Union Group. From 6pm to 10pm, Kiki will unveil an exclusive array of meticulously curated signature cocktails at Maiga!, each crafted to reflect his remarkable artistry and innovative vision.

With over two decades of experience, Kiki is recognized as one of Indonesia’s leading cocktail personalities, known for elevating The Cocktail Club Jakarta to the No. 12 position in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024. His expertise and creative approach to cocktail crafting promise an evening of exceptional flavors and unforgettable moments. 

As an overwater destination bar, Maiga! offers an immersive experience like no other, where every sip is a journey into the rich flavors of Labuan Bajo. Kiki is honored to participate in the Bar Takeover at Ta’aktana, sharing a passion for the art of mixology, local spirits, and innovative cocktail curation.

Inspired by a unique blend of tradition and modernity, Kiki brings exceptional flair and creativity through his craft cocktails, from Limoshine Paloma, a vibrant mix of Espolon Blanco, Limo Aperitivo, Citrus Mix, and Bundaberg Grapefruit Juice; the Bella Dama, a harmonious blend of Espolon Reposado, Homemade Horchata, and Monin Cinnamon; the Eh High, featuring Espolon Blanco, Redistilled Amaretto, St. Germain Elderflower, Aperol, and Tonic Water; and the Agua Verde, a tantalizing concoction of Espolon Reposado, Mezcal Espadin, Homemade Bergamot Liqueur, Agave Malic Solution, Tonic Water, and Green Paprika Foam.
