Building on the success of its first mixology event, Ta’aktana, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Labuan Bajo, proudly continues its Bar Takeover series at Maiga! Bar in collaboration with Agung “El Hombre” Satria, Bacardi-Martini’s Brand Ambassador. Guests are invited to experience a remarkable journey of taste and craftsmanship with world-class cocktails, set against the stunning scenery of Labuan Bajo on September 27th and 28th, 2024.

The festivities kick off on September 27th with a Tequila Flight Tasting from 6 pm to 10 pm, offering an elegant fusion of flavors through carefully paired food and spirits. Attendees will savor a curated selection of Patrón Tequila, each complemented by a specially designed dish to enhance the unique taste profiles of the tequilas.

Notable pairings include Patrón Silver with Tuna Gohu, Patrón Reposado with Chicken Croquettes, Patrón Añejo with Prawn Samosa, and Patrón El Cielo with Corn Carne Sliders, delivering a refined tasting experience that celebrates both culinary and mixological artistry.

The event continues on September 28th, 2024, with a Bar Takeover led by Agung Satria, where the acclaimed mixologist will showcase his innovative skills through a selection of signature cocktails that reflect his passion for mixology.

Renowned for his inventive approach and profound knowledge of ingredients, Agung will present three of his renowned creations: Esmeralda, a vibrant blend of Patrón Silver, Kaffir Leaf, Kyuri, and Lime; Watermelon Sugar, a delightful mix of Patrón Silver, Watermelon Metheglin, Passion Fruit, and Tonic; and Sunny Side Up, an adventurous concoction of Patrón Silver, Falernum, Curry Leaf, Lime, and Aquafaba.

Each cocktail exemplifies his expertise in crafting distinctive flavors using top-quality spirits.

Affectionately known as ‘El Hombre,’ Agung has built a stellar reputation for his creativity and expertise in mixology, becoming the first Indonesian bartender to place in the top 3 of the Angostura Global Cocktail Competition in 2020.
