#PelarianWeekenders

Business Director of Creative Tribe, Nadian Almatsier, said, “Commemorating this special moment of World Mental Health Day this year, we from #pelarian are voicing the theme ‘Feel and Heal’ where through #pelarianweekenders held this time at Corner 28, we want to invite friends who are currently actively working, whether they do it all the time in the office workspace, in the field or working from home to always care about their mental health and that of their colleagues.”

“Trying to recognize and feel the existing mental condition is a good start to then find a positive ‘escape’ to maintain mental health. And if you feel something is wrong, with the support system around you, we can seek help from professionals.”

Nadian further explained that there are at least several things that need to be considered in this important moment of World Mental Health Day 2024, including the Impact of Mental Health on Productivity, a Healthy Work Environment, the Importance of Awareness and Education, Work-Life Balance, and Company Responsibility.

Meanwhile, psychologist from Psychology Center, Evi Santi Rahayu, said that optimal human development, which includes cognitive, verbal, motor, and social aspects, plays a very important role in maintaining mental health in the workplace. By understanding the relationship between these aspects and mental health, companies together with employees can create a healthier and more productive work environment.

“These four aspects are interconnected and interact in a complex way, so that healthy development in one aspect will have a positive impact on other aspects, and contribute to overall mental well-being. Good cognitive abilities, effective communication skills, skilled motor skills, and the ability to interact socially allow individuals to adapt to the demands of work, build positive relationships with colleagues, and cope with stress and challenges that arise in the work environment,” Evi explained further.

Publicist from Vox Populi Publicists and movement partner of #pelarianweekenders, Ajeng Campagnita said, “The #PelarianWeekenders movement has several unique features that set it apart from other similar activities, such as a Focus on Mental Health, Active Community Participation, Involvement of Public Figures, Varied Event Formats, and a Holistic and Continuous Approach.”

“With these unique features, #PelarianWeekenders has successfully created a significant positive impact in increasing awareness and support for mental health among the Indonesian people. Together with Creative Tribe and Movement Partners, we will strive to remain consistent and committed to the sustainability of this movement.”
