The Lounge by Aman -10th Anniversary ANernoon Tea
Over the past decade, Aman Tokyo has become renowned for its innovative afternoon tea service, with each changing season bringing a new themed experience served against the backdrop of the city’s skyline.
To celebrate its anniversary, the iconic afternoon tea –available from 26 December 2024 until 14 January 2025 – is reimagined once more, with an edition inspired by the original tea set that was served when the hotel opened a decade ago.
With the colour black as a central theme, the set offers a nod to the hotel’s award-winning interiors, with an exquisite selection of delicious, and aesthetically-pleasing sweet and savoury treats – from black sesame financier to bamboo charcoal macarons.
Aman Spa: Aman Tokyo Signature Journey
To mark this special milestone, the hotel’s Aman Spa unveils an enhanced version of its Aman Tokyo Signature Journey, set to launch in 2025. Combining ancient Japanese wellness tradition with modern therapies, the 150- minute holistic journey has been designed to renew both body and mind – perfectly timed for the start of Aman Tokyo’s next decade with a body wrap, massage and facial completing the experience.

Known for its calming properties, the fragrance of celebrated Japanese ingredient, Kuromoji extract, fills the ir throughout the entire therapy, realising both physical and mental tension.
This soothing plant is linked to tea master Sen no Rikyū, who used Kuromoji picks in samurai tea ceremonies. Guests would snap the fragrant sticks to release a calming aroma, creating a moment of mindfulness and balance.
During this treatment it is also poured over the body to help stimulate the senses. The facial treatment, which harnesses the potent Aman Essential Skin collection, made from purple rice bran and indigo extract – used in Japan for their benefits for centuries – leaves skin refreshed and renewed.
