Other Celebrations Around the Resort
To start the celebration, guests are invited to the iconic Rock Bar for the Spirit of the Serpent Countdown Party, a vibrant celebration to ring in the Year of the Snake. From 4 PM to 1 AM, the bar will come alive with music, cocktails, and stunning ocean views, providing the ideal atmosphere for both locals and visitors to welcome the new year.
The celebrations continue on January 29 with a Barong Dance Show at Rimba by Ayana, followed by a festive Chinese New Year’s Celebration dinner at Kampoeng Bali.
Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a fusion of Balinese and Chinese cultural performances, including a spectacular Kecak Dance and the Dragon Dance, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere that celebrates both cultures.

Ayana Resort will host various fun-filled children’s activities, including arts and crafts, and interactive games, ensuring the little ones have as much fun as the adults.
Giordano Faggioli, General Manager of Ayana Bali, shares: “Ayana Bali has long been a cherished destination for thousands of Chinese visitors each year. Celebrating Chinese New Year holds great importance for us—not only as a way to welcome the new year with our Chinese guests but also to honour the rich traditions of Chinese culture. We invite all our guests staying with us in February to join in the celebrations and embrace the Year of the Snake through our exciting events and special promotions.”
