This esteemed occasion welcomes Satoshi Sugiura, Bar Manager of El Lequio in Okinawa, Japan, and the brand ambassador for Kokuto de Lequio, a distinctive liqueur crafted by SG Group.
Satoshi and his team created the liqueur with local Okinawan ingredients in collaboration with regional distilleries to create an exceptional spirit.
Renowned for his mastery of classic Japanese and flair bartending in Tokyo’s vibrant mixology scene, Satoshi will showcase his innovative flair to Labuan Bajo, crafting exclusive cocktails that celebrate premium spirits, distinctive ingredients, and global influences that seamlessly blend tradition with modern creativity.
Ranked #80 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2023 in the 51-100 extended list, El Lequio is a testament to Satoshi’s vision and expertise. As the first bar from Okinawa to earn a spot on this prestigious list, El Lequio has elevated the region’s presence in the global mixology scene.
The bar’s innovative program celebrates Okinawan heritage featuring craft cocktails made with locally sourced ingredients and an artisanal touch of Kokuto de Lequio.
Among the exclusive creations that Satoshi Sugiura will showcase at Maiga! Bar is the Smokers Highball, a bold mix of Bulleit Bourbon, Italian Vermouth, Fernet Branca, and Soda, offering a refreshing and complex profile.
