From Paris to Tuscany with Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany and Venice Simplon-Orient Express, A Belmond Train, Europe
From Spring 2025, Castello di Casole will partner with Venice Simplon-Orient Express for the first time, connecting Paris with Tuscany’s famed 10th century farm estate, through the romance of rail. Launching from 11-14 May, the train will journey through renowned European landscapes from French cityscapes into majestic Alpine peaks and through Italy’s undulating vineyards.
The new journey will include a stop in Siena, to uncover the medieval UNESCO city’s cultural wonders, before continuing the journey to Castello di Casole, originally a medieval castle on an ancient Etruscan site.
L’Observatoire by JR: A New Carriage Launches Aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe, from Spring 2025
The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is proud to present L’Observatoire, an exclusive sleeper carriage with interiors conceptualised and designed by world-acclaimed artist JR.
Joining the rake in March 2025, this private carriage is the train’s first to be designed by an artist and will become the most spacious accommodation type onboard any Belmond train.
Drawing inspiration from astronomical observatories and Renaissance Europe’s cabinet of curiosity, the sleeper carriage meticulously replicates the spirit of JR’s Parisian art studio with personal “objets d’art” or keepsakes to be uncovered throughout the “studio on wheels.
Michelin-Starred Celebrity Chef Dinner Series Launch Aboard British Pullman, A Belmond Train, England, from Spring 2025
From 18 April 2025, the British Pullman will launch its latest culinary adventure: the Celebrity Chef Dinner Series. These four new journeys will each have new menus curated by some of the UK’s most renowned Michelin-starred Chefs, including Chef Andrew Wong, Chef Atul Kochhar, Chef Phil Howard, and Chef Theo Randall.
