Yori Hehanussa, Sports Coordinator of Dash Sports, BTN Dash Aquathlon explained that the competition featured 4 categories:
- Junior, for participants aged 13-16 years.
- General, for 17-39 years.
- Master Category, for participants over 40 years old, and
- Mixed Relay, a new category in this event.
The run-swim-run format race required participants to run 2.5 kilometers, swim 500 meters in the Olympic pool at the Aquatic Stadium, and finish with another 2.5-kilometer run to the finish line.
“Popular sports communities in Jabodetabek, such as Pesut Swim Academy, Millennium Aquatic, Aqua Marlin Swimming Club, RIOT, Metarun, Santiago Runners, Tazbrunners, JAQ, and Adidas Runners Jakarta, competed in this year’s Dash Aquathlon,” explained Yori.
In the Junior Male 12-16 category, Belhgrano Deeyren Valeska with bib 541 became the first-place winner with a time of 27:56. In the Junior Female 12-16 category, Salsabila Nadifa Putri with bib 547 emerged as the first-place winner with a time of 28:54. Meanwhile, in the General 17-39 category, Edward Farand Wijaya with bib 234 became the first-place winner with a time of 28:21 for Male and in the Female category, Dike Ayu Fitria with bib 317 became the first-place winner with a time of 32:55.
In the Master Male 40+ category, Emmanuel Galbourdin with bib 470 secured first place with a time of 31 minutes, while in the Master Female category, Wiwik Pujiati with bib 447 became the first-place winner with a time of 38:27.
For the Mixed Relay All Ages category, the first-place winners were Rara and Dary with bib 586, with a time of 39:17.
At the same event, Arlan Lukman, a member of the Indonesian Triathlon Federation and a participant in the event, expressed his gratitude to Dash Sports for consistently organizing community-based sports events and training for four consecutive years. These events are not only exciting but also serve as a competition platform for sports enthusiasts.
“We share the same view that the community is the foundation of the sports industry, especially Aquathlon and Triathlon,” he added.
The BTN Dash Aquathlon is fully supported by Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), PTPN, Lixil, Suunto, and PARC.
