Calling young football enthusiasts to dive into the “Barça Experience!”
Medio Sports Agency (MSA), an all-in-one sports agency based in Jakarta, proudly announces their collaboration with FC Barcelona at the beginning of 2025 to bring Barça Academy Camps to Indonesia this year in June, adding Indonesia into the list of countries hosting similar camps, granted, Barça Academy Camps Jakarta will be the first of its kind in Asia.
FC Barcelona has also expressed their excitement for the event and welcomed the opportunity to further expands the club’s brand through comprehensive education of the camp’s participants, familiarizing themselves with the club’s methodology and philosophy, aimed to improve their football skills as well as each of their individual growth, while at the same time promoting creative as well as cooperative playing styles and at the same time develop team initiative among each member.


Kendy Chandra, the founder and Director of Medio Sports Agency stated, “FC Barcelona is known for its strict criteria in selecting partners, and MSA did not hold back in their approach. We first built our portfolio by hosting various similar collaborations, such as the Valencia Soccer Academy in 2022, Everton FC in 2023, and Atlético de Madrid in 2024. Paired with an incredible proposal and review of the Indonesian football potential, MSA finally managed to secure an agreement with the FC Barcelona as their official license holder in Indonesia.”
MSA recognizes that bringing Barça Academy to Indonesia is an important collaborative step, requiring significant time, effort, and preparation by building a strong portfolio through collaborations with other major European clubs while highlighting the potential of the Indonesian football market.
MSA is committed to making Barça Academy Camps an annual event and is currently in discussions with FC Barcelona to expand the program beyond football camps to further broaden opportunities for young football talents in Indonesia.

Kendy, who is also a die-hard fan of FC Barcelona, further explained that the Barça Academy Camps Jakarta will be the first in Asia, with the primary goal of introducing FC Barcelona’s unique training methods and philosophy to a wider audience. This initiative also marks the first step towards establishing a permanent Barça Academy in Indonesia.
