Aman at Sea: Amangati, The Name of Tranquil Voyages

Aman’s first luxury motor yacht sets sail with a name that evokes peace, fluidity, and forward motion.

In a seamless extension of its philosophy of serene luxury, Aman — the brand revered for its sublime sanctuaries in the world’s most inspiring corners — has officially named its first ultra-luxury motor yacht Amangati. A Sanskrit word meaning “peaceful motion”, Amangati reflects the essence of its maritime journey: a fluid, graceful experience that mirrors the gentle flow of water and the soul-soothing calm that Aman is known for.

Currently under construction by T.Mariotti S.p.A in Genoa, Italy, Amangati is slated for its maiden voyage in 2027. The vessel, designed by the esteemed Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, is poised to redefine luxury sea travel — not merely as transportation, but as a transformative experience.

At 183 metres (600 feet) in length, Amangati will house just 47 meticulously designed suites, each with a private balcony — among the most spacious of any vessel in its class. It’s not simply a yacht; it’s a floating interpretation of Aman’s legendary sense of place and peace.

A world of refined indulgence awaits onboard: four international dining venues offering culinary voyages of their own; a Jazz Club designed for intimate, elegant evenings; a holistic Aman Spa complete with a Japanese garden; and an expansive Beach Club that provides direct access to the sea from the yacht’s stern — an architectural and experiential statement of refined leisure.

In line with Aman’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, Amangati will be equipped with innovative green technologies, including battery-powered propulsion. The goal: to tread lightly while delivering an experience of extraordinary refinement and harmony with the natural world.

“Naming Amangati marks a pivotal and inspiring milestone for Aman,” shared Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman. “This vessel will embody the essence of our brand — exceptional privacy, unrivalled service, and a standard of design and amenities yet unseen on water. It will be the epitome of Aman’s DNA, brought to life on the open sea.”

Come 2027, Amangati will debut in the Mediterranean for the summer season. Designed not only for scheduled voyages but also private charters, this sea-bound sanctuary will invite guests to explore the world’s most captivating coastlines in absolute privacy and elegance.
