Hotel Ciputra Jakarta is pleased to announce the appointment of Dade Dermawansyah as our new Pastry Chef, overseeing the pastry and bakery operations. Chef Dade has built up an impressive career, starting with his first role of Commis Pastry at Intercontinental Group in Jakarta and working across many different restaurants and hotel groups in Bali, Malaysia, Japan and Thailand for the last ten years. In 2012, he returned to Jakarta as a Pastry Chef for eight years in various hotels groups such as: Aston, Aryaduta, Swiss-Belhotel International, Accor and Four Seasons. He later joined as Executive Pastry Chef at Hotel Ciputra Jakarta in 2016. In February 11, 2019 he returned to Jakarta and took on his role again as Pastry Chef at Hotel Ciputra Jakarta.
A consummate pastry expert with over 19 years of culinary experience, Mr Dade Dermawansyah will be responsible for creative menu development as well as the exemplary execution of pastry across the hotel’s award-winning food and beverage outlets, banqueting and in-room dining.
