Converse Combines CX Comfort and Nike Technology for Optimal Convenience
Converse has adapted Nike’s FlyEase technology for the first time to present the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase. Joining other icons, such as the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Air Max 90, the Chuck Taylor All Star is the latest beloved silhouette to incorporate FlyEase accessibility technology – making it easier than ever before for Chuck Taylor fans to get in and out of the shoe.
The Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase offers a hands-free experience, allowing seamless step-in and step-out of the shoe. A FlyEase cage comprised of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material that flexes and rebounds allows for hands-free foot entry and lock down. Ease of entry is accentuated by a canvas upper with a padded stretch-canvas collar, and a padded tongue that is fixed in place, which combine to ensure a secure fit. A functional heel tab and heel overlay round out this reconstructed Chuck’s quick on-and-off functionality.
While the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase Ox has made entry easier, an innovative insole loaded with CX foam and a polyurethane leather sockliner ensures all-day comfort as well.
Featuring a mix of canvas, stretch canvas, fused eyerows and toecap, and mix of opaque and translucent foxing tapes, the CTAS CX FlyEase Ox offers a bold, recrafted take on the classic Chuck Taylor silhouette – ultimately, looking as good as it feels on foot.
The Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase will debut in three color ways, including Black/Wild Mango/White, White/Black/Wild Mango, and Egret/String/Light Silver.
Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase will be launched on Februari 24, 2022 at selected Converse stores as well as at converse.id.
