International Musicians Armand Van Helden, The Presets, Hermitude and Miami Horror to Perform at The Island’s Favourite Pool Club
October looks to be nothing short of jam-packed at much-loved pool club Mrs Sippy Bali with the vibrant outdoor space set to host a series of major international musical events across the month.
First up, on October 1, will be The Hermitude. The Australian electronic hip hop duo will be touring their latest album Mirror Mountain, alongside a series of hit singles like The Buzz, and Promises.
A week later, fellow Aussie musical duo The Presets will play an unforgettable set on October 8. The ever-popular Sydney electronica stars who have performed around the globe since their launch in 2003, will entertain guests at Mrs Sippy Bali with hits from their collection of 6 albums and 4 EPS, including songsMy People, Talk Like That, and This Boy’s in Love.
Quartet, and fellow electronica sensations, Miami Horror will take the stage on October 15. They’ve graced the stages at countless festivals worldwide including Coachella, Governors Ball, Electric Forest, Splendour in the Grass, Beyond the Valley, Just Like Heaven, Funka Fest and Corona Capital Festival. Among their many celebrated singles is anthem I Look to You (feat. Kimbra and with 200 million-plus combined streams), Holidays (feat. Alan Paloma) and Sometimes.
October 22 will see the arrival of a collaboration between Sydneysiders and dance scene favourites Anna Lunoe and Yolanda Be Cool. A multi-talented DJ, vocalist and radio host (among others), Anna will be taking to the stage with the Bondi duo who have built a reputation for their party-focused music.
To celebrate the month’s end, world adored American DJ Armand Van Helden will play on October 29. Since forming in 2002 the household name has five top 30 singles under his belt, including Odyssey, and arguably most famous, My My My, which has sold 150,000 copies physically and digitally.
