Starbucks will wrap up 2022 by opening three beautiful stores in three new cities in Indonesia – Starbucks Muwardi Cianjur on November 2nd, Starbucks Sudirman Magelang on November 21st and Starbucks AR Hakim Tegal on December 1st.
The company brings the signature Starbucks experience to customers in the three cities, providing a warm and welcoming third place where customers can connect with baristas proudly wearing the green apron through the enjoyment of a cup of coffee.
“The year 2022 is a crucial year for us (Starbucks) in Indonesia because we continued to open more stores in more than 10 new cities in Indonesia – and Cianjur, Magelang and Tegal are some of the important cities we chose to open our stores and wrap this year with a bang,” said Anthony McEvoy, leader of PT Sari Coffee Indonesia – the licensee of the Starbucks brand in Indonesia.
“Demographically, these three cities have different characteristics. But all three have some things in common, from people’s lifestyle to fast work pace in each city. As part of the celebration of Starbucks’ 20th anniversary in Indonesia, we hope that our presence in Cianjur, Magelang and Tegal will bring us closer to our customers while contributing to regional economic development and creating jobs for the surrounding community,” he added.
Starbucks Muwardi Cianjur opened to celebrate the coffee community in West Java. This 220m2 store started to serve coffee lovers in Cianjur and the surrounding community starting from November 2nd. This two-story store features a Starbucks siren mural painting as high as nearly 4m that can be seen from the first and second floors. Customers can enjoy their favorite drink with colleagues, friends, or family at the community table on the second floor. This store also has an outdoor area where customers can enjoy the view of Cianjur city in the afternoon.
