Sari Delicatessen and Café, a cherished landmark in Jakarta’s culinary landscape, is making a grand return with its reopening event titled “Kembali ke Sari Delicatessen and Café” on August 29, 2024.
Established in 1976 and part of the esteemed Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, the café has long been celebrated for its wide selection of breads, deli items, and classic cakes, including the iconic Black Forest cake, which remains a best seller to this day.
The event “Kembali ke Sari Delicatessen and Café” aims to revive the glamour of the café’s early days while embracing a new, brighter chapter. Originally a modest deli shop in the lobby area focused on takeaways, the café has now moved to a prime location next to the hotel entrance.
This new setting offers guests convenient access and the opportunity to enjoy a unique dining experience in an elegant glasshouse environment designed for dine-in sessions.
The extensive renovation represents a fresh start for Sari Delicatessen and Café, merging its rich heritage with modern sophistication. “This is a new beginning for a brighter future,” said Vincent Yap, General Manager of Sari Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection.
“Sari Delicatessen & Café was once known as the diva of the market, and we are ready to make a significant impact once again.” The revamped space showcases natural design elements and a refreshed menu that seamlessly blends traditional favorites with innovative dishes inspired by both Indonesian and international cuisines.
