Negroni Week is Back: Celebrating Innovation Behind the Legendary Campari Cocktail

The 12th annual #NegroniWeek will take place from 16th to 22nd September 2024 with fundraising from bars proceeds going to charitable partner Slow Food

Campari, the renowned Italian red apéritif, is teaming up once again with Imbibe Magazine for Negroni Week, which will take place from September 16th to 22nd, 2024. This global event, held in bars and restaurants worldwide, will support the charitable cause of Slow Food.

Negroni Week 2024 highlights the power of storytelling through innovative mixology, with Campari at the forefront. This year, 315 venues across Indonesia will be participating, placing the country among the top 10 markets globally.

In 2023, Negroni Week saw over 12,000 bars and restaurants across nearly 80 countries participating, raising more than $600,000. The funds supported an educational scholarship for 24 industry professionals and 17 community-based initiatives.

For Negroni Week 2024, proceeds from the Negroni Week Fund will once again be managed by Slow Food, directly benefiting the hospitality industry. The funds will focus on preserving cultural and biological diversity, promoting food and beverage education through knowledge sharing, and advancing equity and justice.

Celebrating mixology culture across bar and restaurant partners, Campari has further extended its commitment to supporting Negroni Week’s charitable goals by inspiring bartenders and consumers to craft their own stories around the red heart of the world’s best-selling classic cocktail.

The Campari Red Hands campaign will see four internationally acclaimed bartenders – Mona Gallosa, Argentina; Tiffanie Barriere, USA; Joe Schofield, UK; Millie Tang, Australia – supporting Negroni Week through four short films celebrating the art of cinema and of mixology.

Additionally, Campari partnered with Soho House to host a one-of-a-kind creative film competition for its members in certain countries. Fostering emerging film talent, the competition invited Soho House members to create a short film celebrating the elements of life that transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, like Campari transforms the Negroni into an extraordinary cocktail.
