Niki successfully hosted two sold out concerts, Niki: Buzz Around The World, in Jakarta on 14th and 16th February 2024. The energy was buzzing throughout the 2-day concert as NIKI brought some of the crowd favourite tracks to life, and immersed her fans into her universe through visuals, aesthetics and fashion.
Tonight, complementing the “Mystic Force” theme of the second Jakarta show, NIKI kicked off the show with a custom Adidas outfit created by Niki, her stylist Katie Qian and designer LVDF, pairing it with the Adidas Superstar II.
This costume is a customized upcycled piece, created with adidas apparel from this season, consisting of:
Reconstructed Corset Top: Inspired by by Niki’s favorite performance silhouette and the stripes of a bumblebee, this top is a reimagines the classic Adidas tracksuit and new Teamgeist collection, reconstructed to create this corset-style top.
Reconstructed Pants: Crafted with several Adidas pieces, including the Adibreak Track Pants, Denim 3 Stripe Pants, 3 Stripe Parachute Pants and Superstar Track Top, this mix-material patchwork baggy pants added a Cyberpunk flair to the outfit.
Superstar II: She also completed her look with the classic Adidas Superstar shoes. The updated silhouette serves up fresh, ’90s- inspired attitude to her whole concert look.
‘Niki: Buzz Around The World’ was a sensory kaleidoscope, which gave us a glimpse into her universe. Her music, aesthetic and fashion, her creativity and innovation all cement her as an Original in her own right.
